Travel WODs to keep you fit this holiday season!
My husband and two little boys live about 4 hours from both our families, so we do a lot of traveling this time of year in order to spend the holidays with everyone. We know many of you will be traveling as well, so we have put together some Travel WODs that you can do anywhere that your holiday schedule may take you! We hope this will help you to stay on track with your fitness goals and not miss a beat in your work-out routine.
A lacrosse ball is an easy mobility tool that can be tossed into your bag to relieve muscle aches and stiffness during a flight or on a long car ride. If you do not have a lacrosse ball yet, you can pick one up at your local sporting goods store for about $3. Another lightweight and simple piece of equipment to throw in a bag is your jump rope. Downtime with family is a great time to practice those double-unders!
A simple warm up before beginning your WOD is important. This can be a 400 meter run, 10 air squats, and 10 push ups, just to get your body loose.
Travel WOD #1:
3 Rounds for Time:
600 meter run
10 push ups
20 air squats
Travel WOD #2:

Ab mat sit ups (Equipment substitution: use a rolled up towel or do regular sit ups)
